All charitable receipts are sent to you from the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa
CanadaHelps is a unique donor portal that offers an online fundraising
for Canadian charities. It operates by using electronic fund transfer (EFT) and electronic communication methods. Using EFT, all the funds, less a 3%
transaction fee, are transferred directly to the charity's bank account on a weekly basis. Email communication provides the
charity with real-time reporting and notification of each donation made on the site. Donor receives an immediate tax receipt for the full amount.
Cornerstone is a Community Ministry of the
Anglican Diocese of Ottawa. On line donations are administered through the Anglican Diocese main accounting office and sent directly to Cornerstone. To ensure that your donation goes to Cornerstone, click "Cornerstone" under the Fund Designation section on the attached Anglican Diocese/ Canada Helps page. Your charitable receipt will come in the name of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa.

Gift Planning
Gift Planning in the Diocese of Ottawa to benefit Cornerstone.
Did you know a charitable gift of publicly traded securities such as stocks,
bonds and mutual funds made directly to Cornerstone, either now or as a bequest in your will, offers significant income tax savings.

What We Can Accomplish With Your Help
We appreciate your financial contributions to the services offered at Cornerstone's three residences.
Here are some of the ways your donation is helping homeless women:
- $21 will feed one woman for a week
- $84 will feed her for a month
- $840 will feed 10 women for a month
- $100 will provide one month of addiction or mental health counseling services for a woman in recovery from the effects of trauma and abuse
- $200 will sponsor a woman in our iSisters computer training course
- $75 will provide a homeless woman with the support of our Housing Worker in her search for safe and affordable housing that she can sustain when she leaves the shelter.
A regular monthly commitment can help us to plan ahead for some new services we would like to offer to our residents. Call us if you would like to hear more about these options.

We take every step to ensure the confidentiality of your information is maintained. The information you or your employer provide to us is used to help us in campaign, to process and receipt your donation and to respond to any of your requests.
